How do I work
From the initial idea to realization and execution, we work together with the client to turn the garden they dream into reality.
Idea
I start by getting to know the place, its essence and its possibilities. During the first visits, I always gather ideas and wishes of the people who are going to enjoy the garden. We work together with inspirational images that will help me to see more clearly what the client's tastes and wishes are for the space that we are going to create.

With all this information, I make the first sketch in which I define the distribution of the spaces and I make a first draft of colors and textures.
Design
In the second meeting, I present the first draft. We discuss the materials to use and the textures we want to achieve. With this information we make the first design, which allows us to request a preliminary budget for the construction of the garden. This will give the indication to know if the garden project is within your budget. Later we can still include changes - if necessary.

The next phase will be to carry out the final design. In it, we will process all the information necessary to draw up an offer for the construction of the garden, including the planting design and the lighting plan. The design is ready for implementation.
Execution
At Uit Zuid we work with different qualified companies to carry out the execution of the gardens that we design. But we can also collaborate with other companies chosen by the client. At this stage, we choose the company that will build the garden, we share the details of the design, discuss the choice of materials, and plan the execution. If the client chooses another company to execute the design, we ensure that the construction is progressing as planned.
Planting
Zodra de aanleg van de tuin klaar is, kunnen we gaan beplanten. Op dat moment optimaliseren wij het beplantingsontwerp. Dat bestaat uit een plan met afbeeldingen van de te gebruiken planten en een gedetailleerde offerte van de uitvoeringskosten. De planten kopen we bij gecertificeerde leveranciers die de beste kwaliteit leveren.
Maintenance
We like to work on the maintenance of gardens that we have designed, two or three times a year, to be able to appreciate how it takes shape. If there is any modification to be made, we will discuss it with the client.
